By popular request two new morning classes will be starting in Fishponds:

FROM Thursday 20 July 6.30am - Rise & Shine Yoga- This early morning class will wake you up, get you energised and give you calm and focus for the day.

FROM Thursday 7 September 9.30am- Fitness Urban Yoga- For mums, self-employed, shift-workers, retirees, and everyone else who wants to come along this class will give you a great stretch, strengthen and balance for the rest of your day so you leave feeling fitter, positive and with a spring in your step!

New Classes coming in July!

I'm thrilled to be able to offer new classes starting in July:

Core & Back Fit at Motion Fitness, The Pithay, Central Bristol on Tuesday lunchtimes (from 4 July) and which is a specialist class for those who want to sort out back issues by reducing stiffness/aches and strengthen and tone their core muscles.

Urban Fitness Yoga at Redland Green School, Redland Court Road, Redland on Tuesday evenings 6-7pm (from 18 July) to help increase overall fitness, strength and balance and stretching out tight areas to reduce aches and stiffness, and allow you to switch off your mind from everyday work and life stress. You can work at your own pace to challenge yourself or to take it really easy, so you get whatever you need from the session. And you will go home feeling great, relaxed and positive!

As these have been set up due to general demand, it is anticipated they will be popular so booking is essential and places are limited. So claim your place now!

New Year Workshop coming!

This workshop will give you something to look forward in the New Year!  In this session you will re-claim your fitness after the excesses and stiffness built-up over Christmas, feel more re-junvented and release all the tension and strains of the festive season whilst also stretching and re-energising your muscles. Yoga Nidra Taster class 20 August 10.30-11.10am

Do you want to sleep well, boost your confidence, banish anxiety and/or stress? Would you like to have more calm and more relaxation in your life ? Then how about a taste of yoga nidra (often called yogic sleep)? Yoga nidra is among the deepest possible states of relaxation while still maintaining full consciousness between waking and sleeping. People have found that it reduces tension and anxiety, releases long-held emotions, headaches, giddiness, chest pain, palpitations and abdominal pain.

There are so many known benefits of experiencing yoga nidra which you can have now for yourself when you come along to this taster session at Core Strength Studios.


2 new workshops coming!

The Bristol 10k is almost upon us so I am holding a Runners' Workshop on Sunday 1 May for all those interested in running, whether in the 10k, other races or for those who generally like to run for fun. You will also learn psychological performance enhancing techniques to help you maximise your performance and be the best you can be.

Then the first of the summer workshops takes place on Saturday 11 June. This workshop is all about the joys of inversion postures so come along to find out what's so exciting and empowering about being upside down for fun!

Wind-down to Christmas workshop - 28th November 2015

To prepare for Christmas, take some out for yourself and come along to a pampering yoga session to help relax, unwind and find a quiet, peaceful space just for you. You will also be treated to mindfulness meditations, calming breathing exercises and a head or foot massage to complete your relaxation experience. Come join me and have an amazing time!

Autumn Shoulder Workshop

The autumn Shoulder Workshop will take place on Saturday 19 September 2015 from 10am to 12.15pm. There will be 2 sessions with a 10-15mins break in between and light refreshments will be provided. Feel the tension lift and pick up muscle relaxing tips to use at home.

Two new classes starting!

I am very excited to announce two new classes. There is a new Fishponds class at 5.45pm on a Wednesday at Beechwood Club in central Fishponds and also coming up soon is a Tuesday evening class, also at 5.45pm, which starts on 11 August at Wilder Studios, Wilder Street, Central Bristol. Do come along!

I will be running 2 workshops in June; Relax & Unwind on 13 June at The Island Dance Space, Nelson Street, Central Bristol and Yoga Fundamentals on 27 June at Fitness4Less, Union Street, Central Bristol (open to  both members and non-members) and one on 4 July at Core Strength Studios, Three Queen's Lane, Central Bristol.
